Gaston & Kiki Kurtz

Gifted and energetic leaders of contemporary praise music, Gaston and Kiki are serve in the Music Ministry of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church in Hallsville, TX.  Gaston is the Minister of Music and Kiki plays guitar and does background vocals.  Married in December of 2008, they are both seniors at East Texas Baptist University and have been playing music together for over 5 years.  With a rich background in youth, preteen, and camp ministries, they are tremendously effective with kids in the camp worship environment.  Gaston and Kiki actually met while on the rec staff of a preteen camp 7 years ago and have served on the staff of a preteen camp in one capacity or another every year since.

Gary Ladd

There are very few pastors as well suited for preteen camp as Gary Ladd.  Gary brings energy, fun, and excitement to everything he does - including his preaching.  Gary is the pastor of the brand new GracePoint Fellowship in Magnolia, TX, and previously pastored FBC Madisonville, Woodland Place Baptist in Magnolia, and Richards Baptist Church in Richards, TX.  Gary and his wife Brenda have three sons, and he is great with kids - he keeps things simple, clear, challenging, and age-appropriate.  Campers won’t just see Gary on the stage during worship, they will see him doing everything they do.  They will see him playing, splashing, and getting muddy just like them.  And that helps kids hear God speaking through him, because they can tell that he not only loves God, he also loves them.
