Gary Ladd
There are very few pastors as well suited for preteen camp as Gary Ladd. Gary brings
energy, fun, and excitement to everything he does - including his preaching. Gary
is the pastor of GracePoint Fellowship in Magnolia, and previously pastored FBC Madisonville,
Woodland Place Baptist in Magnolia, and Richards Baptist Church in Richards, TX.
Gary and his wife Brenda have three sons, and he is great with kids - he keeps things
simple, clear, challenging, and age-appropriate. Campers won’t just see Gary on
the stage during worship, they will see him doing everything they do. They will
see him playing, splashing, and getting muddy just like them. And that helps kids
hear God speaking through him, because they can tell that he not only loves God,
he also loves them.
Brian Foster
Brian is back - a high energy musician and worship leader with a real heart for God.
Brian grew up in Conroe where he lives with his wife, Tiffany, and their four children.
When we asked Brian to give us a little biographical stuff, here’s what he wrote,
just the way he wrote it . . .
In the beginning . . . . there was Brian. Well, okay - not the VERY beginning. But
sometime between now and the beginning. Although, not exactly in the middle of now
and the beginning. Probably closer to now than the beginning. I guess "the beginning"
is all a matter of perspective, though, isn't it? Unless you're talking about THE
beginning, which is foolishness because that would make Brian 4.5 billion years old,
or a few thousand years old - depending on what your belief of the world's origin
is. Either way, there's NO way Brian is that old, so suffice it to say he wasn't
there in THE beginning. But he WAS there in the beginning that HE knows, which wouldn't
be the beginning that others know, unless they shared the EXACT same birthday as
Brian, like a girl named Dawn that he once worked with and found out they were born
on the very same day. So, the beginning that Brian (and Dawn) know may not be the
same beginning that most know, but as far as he knows, in the beginning . . . . there
was Brian. Now he plays guitar and sings and likes to make people laugh.
And he's saved.
